I dont know how the friend system works, only managed to add/receive 3 so far. Cant get one to go to hobbit (have spammed on multple occasions) and he has sent one to me which i never received, so random...

If you have Veteran lvl2 (2 previous BF games registered with same account) you start of with health packs, defibs, ammo packs, motion sensors, C4, repair tool as well as the Tommy Gun and M1 Garand. Does make the early unlock stages even more boring though, as you get nothing at the levels you would normally be unlocking those items.

I've been playing on 360 and loving it so far. Got to LV11 in about 15 hours of gameplay. Levels\unlocks come faster later on because of the massive amount of points you get for completing Insignias (most are 5,000 points, some are 10,000). Eg 100 repairs = 5,000 points. 100 Squad repairs = another 5,000 points and so on. I'm often finding I will end a match with 10,000+ points due to awards.

Tried a bit of squad rush, its not too bad. Slower pace than regular rush due to the low amount of players and limit of 20 tickets per objective for the attackers (2+ medics in the squad is vital IMO). It feels alot more focused though, 1 objective at a time, no vehicles. Firefights seem more intense, but occur less frequently.

360 version uses matchmaking rather than a server browser. No ping indicator whatsoever ingame ^_^. That said connections seem fairly lag free. Even when in a match with Euro or US, it feels smoother than games like Modern Warfare 2.

Matchmaking in the Squad rush\Squad DM modes is great, usually get a match in under 30 secs.

Man such a waste playing this game on a console as opposed to pc. You should feel ashamed thx.

And such a waste designing this game for consoles to have it suck balls in the PC version.

I just got my tv fixed (been fuxored for a few months) and since we now have a 2nd hand one in the lounge, i hooked it up to my pc. It took a few hours to get use to 40" from 22" but omg, i am in creamy goodness heaven now.

Yeah that's both impressive and awesome at the same time.

New map pack on the 30th apparently - well not really a map pack, but adds Arica Harbour as conquest, and that jungle map with the dam as conquest too - which is odd as it already has a conquest map..

Initially i liked Rush tons more than conquest, now I am not so sure. The tight map design has really eliminated circling and back capping.

Anyone going to be on tonight?
