THere's tons of beta multi footage around, trailers etc.

Today they showed the first single player campaign footage/trailer. In case you dont know, the game is half multi, half single player campaign unlike most other Battlefield titles - well pretending BC1 doesnt exist - but even BC1 didnt put as much emphasis on multi like this one has.

Closed beta for PC starts on the 28th Jan, runs until around 28th Feb, game launches very early March.

Can get pre-order keys from various places, i ordered online via ebgames website for 10 bucks, key was emailed to me tonight. Beta had previously been run for PS3, but PC is where its at thx.

Looks pretty fuckwin, Waiting on the PC footage more than anything, Watching some tard trying to aim at something 3 feet away and putting 3/4 of his mag into the wall instead reeks of console fps cancer.

BC1 was underrated.

US$50 pre-order on steam, incl. beta key and extra game items, get it before EA wakes up and jacks up the price

Why people still shop at EB is beyond me.

I got my eb pre-order key last week, then promptly cancelled my order in which they refunded the 10 bucks. Then pre-order/bought it on Steam for $56.00 AUD opposed to EB's $89.95 + $10 shipping.

Give me a digital delivery anyday over a ******* box.

So I guess that means I have a spare key

I shop at EB. It's local, I get awesome service, good discounts and free upgrades to collector's editions, and there's a fine little chicky that works there. I've also trained them to not ask about scratch guarantees or trade-ins.

Did bc1 have dedicated servers and did the con sole verison let you find aussie games easy or were they all on soem overseas master server?

bc1 was only on consoles and only had oversea servers as far as i remember, all games were 250ish ping

yeh console only.

there are a lot of things that could go wrong with this game. as much as i hate the idea of doing a console -> pc port, cod6 is still pretty sweet.

tomorrow we'll have a better idea.
